The useful version
FREE99 Messenger is designed to operate as an Android SMS and MMS application. Messages are handled through your device, mobile carrier, Android system services, and the recipients you choose.
What FREE99 does not do
- No advertising or advertising profiles.
- No analytics or behavioral tracking.
- No FREE99 account.
- No sale or rental of personal information.
- No FREE99 cloud storing or relaying your SMS/MMS conversations.
Information stored on your device
The app may store settings and functional information locally, such as theme and font selections, custom avatars, favorites, notification preferences, scheduled messages, and other features you enable. Android and your messaging provider maintain the message data required for the app to work.
Permissions
FREE99 requests permissions needed for messaging features, including SMS/MMS, contacts, notifications, audio recording for voice clips, phone/SIM information, and scheduled alarms. These permissions are used to provide the feature you requested—not to build a profile about you.
Optional third-party services
Some optional features, such as online GIF search, may be provided by an outside service. Before first use, FREE99 will identify that provider and request your agreement. The provider may receive your search terms, IP address, and technical connection information under its own privacy policy. You can decline and continue using FREE99 without that optional service.
